10 - wtf (IL Recap & Fordham Preview)

Welp. It is our first game recap episode. *pours drink*

Looks like I picked a bad week to quit drankin’.

Scott and I review and respond to the debacle that was the Huskers’ performance on a sweltering day in Champagne, IL. From special teams stupidity, to the offense’s inability to get any kind of run game going, we cover it all. I can neither confirm nor deny that I was consuming a bit of rum as we recorded. We also covered the Blackshirt squad that was required to be on the field for nearly 35 minutes, and holy crap...it’s a wonder that NU got within 8 points. There’s also a Plus-Minus update, which is highly anti-climactic.

Fast forward to about 38 minutes if you want to just avoid hearing about the horrific effort against the Illini, and listen to our preview of Fordham instead. We wouldn’t blame you if you did. And to be quite frank, we wish we could have done the same thing.

As if that wasn’t enough, at about 40 minutes, someone begins to shower, which is located right behind the wall behind where I sat to record here at home. I hope the weird background noise isn't too distracting
...plus my pup Chip has been dealing with constipation and whatnot all afternoon, so he was whining in the background toward the end. And yes...I realize he sounds like a cat. *sigh*
