On this episode of Generation Red: A Husker Podcast, after our scheduled guest was a no-show, Scott and I look back at some of the key moments and stats from the heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, and thoroughly disheartening loss to the Badgers. This morphed into less of a game recap, and more of a conversation about coaching and what may or may not eventually happen at the OC position.
And overarching in all is the same gut-punch question: Will the pain ever end?
After that, we turn the page to the upcoming battle in Lincoln in 5 days with the B1G West-winning Iowa Hawkeyes. Nebraska spoiled their shot at Indianapolis last season, and those crappy corn-growers to the east will be looking for revenge against a hurting and vulnerable Husker squad who’s still looking for that ever-elusive sixth win and bowl-eligibility for the first time since 2016.
